How’s it feel?
Producer and musician extraordinaire Robert Glasper brings the therapeutic music with his “Therapy Pt. 2” featuring the late Mac Miller.
Over Robert Glasper and Curtis Jews’ jazzy production, Malcom brings endless bars with two posthumous verses. “Yeah, I come through stunting on ’em, in the park, bunting on ’em / Somebody should pump you up, you best get Joe Budden on ’em.”
Robert recalls on working with Mac Miller on the track. “I was working with my friend. We were just finishing up this specific beat. I immediately sent it to him [Miller], and literally within an hour he sent me back that track,” says Glasper. “Everything was on there — both verses the choruses — and you could tell it was not something that he had written before. He sang the chord changes. You can tell he really came up with that in the moment.”
