UMI Shares Video for ‘Say I’m Ur Luv’

Rising singer UMI has shared another video for a track from her debut album, Forest in the City. The latest visual is for “Say I’m Ur Luv,” and she tapped Joce to direct it.

Whether UMI is back floating to a strange white upper limit or circled by beauties, each scene makes one want to go back and watch it again.

“Say I’m Ur Luv” is the fourth song from UMI’s album Forest in the City to have a visual. She previously shared a video for “Wish That I Could” in honor of Pride month.

UMI uploaded the visuals for “Whatever U Like” and “Sorry” when they were available to stream. Eddie Mandell directed the latter video, while Will Noyce made a visual reference to the former song.

Forest in the City arrived on May 27 on Keep Cool / RCA Records. UMI preceded her first proper album with three singles, including “Whatever U Like” and “Moonlit Room.”

“I know existing in the city can be hard sometimes. existing in this world can be hard. full of noise. the urge to get away and be in nature is so universal, but not always possible. feeling this myself, I wanted to create an album that could be a sonic oasis,” UMI wrote of Forest in the City on Instagram at the time of its release.

“So that no matter where u are in the city, listening can connect you back to the natural world. to remind you of the peace that exists within. may this album be medicine for you.”

UMI supported Forest in the City with a headlining U.S. tour that wrapped in late June.

She will embark on a European tour, starting Oct. 22 at Hole 44 in Berlin, Germany. She will perform three additional concerts through Oct. 28. Tickets are available now.
