“Your Vote Your Voice” Its Voting Season! The 65th GRAMMY Awards First Round of Voting Begins!

The 65thAnnual GRAMMY Awards voting has begun! The first round of voting runs from  Oct. 13 and closes Sun, Oct. 23, 2022.

Unlike other awards, the GRAMMY Awards stand apart because nominees and winners are decided by the music people who create the songs we love. With the most inclusive membership body in the history of the Academy, one of our primary goals this year is to increase voter turnout among R&B voters.

As we embark on our annual GRAMMY Awards “Your Vote Your Voice” campaign and the first Round of GRAMMY Voting determines the nominees for the annual GRAMMY Awards as Recording Academy Voting Members get ready to cast their votes to determine the nominees at the 2023 GRAMMYs, officially known as the 65th GRAMMY Awards.

Key dates:

  • First Round of Voting: October 13th – Sunday, October 23, 2022

  • GRAMMYs (65th GRAMMY Awards) Nominations Announcement: Tuesday, Nov. 15 

  • Final Round Voting:  

  • Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022 – Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023 

  • 2023 GRAMMYs (65th GRAMMY Awards) Telecast: Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023 

Music’s only peer-voted Award The Grammy is most prestigious honor and the only peer-recognized award in music representing the full recognition and respect that comes from within the global family of music people.

There are five newly announced categories, which will debut at the 2023 GRAMMYs next February: Songwriter Of The Year Non-Classical, Best Alternative Music Performance, Best Americana Performance, Best Score Soundtrack For Video Ganes And Other Interactive Media, Best Spoken Word Poetry Album.

GRAMMY nominations will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 15 and the 65th GRAMMY Awards will air on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, live on the CBS Television Network and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.
