Pantera and Judas Priest to Play a Special Show in Sao Paolo, Brazil this December

The time is drawing near for the world to finally see what Pantera with Charlie Benante behind the kit and Zakk Wylde on guitar will sound like. Whether you’re in the “who cares” camp or the “this isn’t really Pantera” group or you’re stoked as hell, there’s a general level of excitement surrounding the band’s return.

While some festival dates have already been announced for the band, Pantera has announced that it’s joining forces with Judas Priest to hold a special one-off show in Sao Paolo, Brazil on December 15. This will mark the sixth show for Pantera before they take their show on the road for other major festivals and headlining tours.

Things are getting dangerously close for the guys, with Zakk not even really knowing all of his guitar parts. We’re hoping this whole thing will turn out just fine and people will be able to stop bitching about how “this isn’t Pantera.” Of course, you could always do what Charlie suggest is don’t come if you don’t like the idea behind the tour.

The tour dates that have been announced so far are as follows:

  • December 2, 2022 – Heaven & Hell Metal Fest – Foro Pegaso – Toluca, Mexico
  • December 6, 2022 – Monterey Metal Festival – Monterey, Mexico
  • December 9, 2022 – Knotfest Colombia – Complejo el Campin
  • December 11, 2022 – Knotfest Chile – Estadio Monumental – Santiago
  • December 15, 2022 – Headlining show w/ Judas Priest – Sao Paolo
  • December 18, 2022 – Knotfest Brazil – Sombodromo Do Anhembi – Sao Paulo
