Brent Faiyaz’s ‘All Mine’ Reaches No. 1 at Urban Radio

Brent Faiyaz lands his first solo No. 1 single at urban radio with “All Mine,” which is taken from his sophomore album, Wasteland.

The self-produced song marks his second chart-topper on this format, following Goldlink’s hit single “Crew” in November 2017. The song, certified 5x multi-platinum, features Faiyaz and Shy Glizzy.

Circling back to “All Mine,” it entered urban radio’s top ten in mid-September. It became Faiyaz’s second top-ten entry as a lead artist and first unaccompanied.

His Neptunes-produced single “Wasting Time,” which features Drake, led the pack as the first Wasteland single to reach the top ten on urban radio.

On Spotify, “All Mine” is the Columbia, Maryland, native’s second most popular song. It has garnered over 43 million streams since its July release. Meanwhile, on Apple Music, it’s among Faiyaz’s top songs.

Weeks after releasing the single “Price of Fame,” Faiyaz released his sophomore album Wasteland on July 8 via his Lost Kids imprint.

The record topped the Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart and launched at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 88,000 equivalent units sold in its first week.

It scored Faiyaz his first top-ten release on the main albums chart and the largest first-week sales of his career.

Last week, Wasteland was among the top albums on Apple Music, behind Sonder’s new release Too Late To Die Young.

In recent weeks, Faiyaz has kept the buzz going for Wasteland. First, he shared a music video for “All Mine,” which co-starred supermodel Joan Smalls.

The black-and-white visual came behind the one for “Loose Change.” Lone Wolf and Mark Peaced directed both visuals. However, the latter video featured Olympic rhythmic gymnast Nastasya Generalova as his romantic interest.

His appearance on Alicia Keys’ latest album, KEYS II, preceded his Wasteland visuals. Their collaboration, “Trillions,” received a visual directed by Bobby Banks and Ramon Rivas.

During the week of Oct. 8, the song hit No. 10 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. At the time of publication, “Trillions” is No. 11 on that airplay-driven chart.

More recently, Faiyaz scored a 2022 Soul Train Awards nomination for Best R&B/Soul Male Artist. Hosted by comedian/actor Deon Cole, the ceremony will air Sunday, Nov. 27, at 8 p.m. ET on BET and BET Her.
