Emerging singer-songwriter Rileyy Lanez has released her new single “Can’t Deny.”
On the track, Lanez sings about giving her all to someone who didn’t reciprocate and lets the know it will sting as she walks away for good.
“You can’t deny, you’re one of a kind / You can’t deny, the love that I gave you / Runnin’ on your head without event tryin’ / Faithful instead when I could’ve played you,” Riley sings on the chorus.
Regarding “Can’t Deny,” Lanez notes, “Sometimes you have to remind people what they missed even when they already lost it.”
“Can’t Deny” arrives just a week after Lanez’s previous track “4 Life,” which was accompanied by an acoustic performance video.
Both songs, as well as “One of Them Nights” and “Blessings,” will appear on Lanez’s upcoming EP, Bittersweet, out Dec. 2 via Columbia Records.
“Things that are sweet can turn bitter. This project shines light on all parts of a relationship, the good and the bad. Even with being exposed to all sides knowing when it’s worth to fight for,” Lanez explains.
Bittersweet will follow Lanez’s debut EP, Beautiful Mistakes, which was released in 2020.
