One love.
After 21 Savage’s controversial comment on Nas’ relevancy, the two rappers unite on their unexpected collaboration, “One Mic One Gun”.
Over Hit-Boy’s triumphant horns and hard-hitting drums, Esco and the Saint Laurent Don trade fiery bars full of bravado and positivity.
“You rappers be chasing the hype/ I do it and I don’t even be trying,” raps 21. “I ain’t going against no legend / Nigga, I’m trying to be next in line,” while God’s Son brings peace rapping , “No back and forth I did it back then / I do it right now / They tell me I’m the G-O-A-T / I been here for awhile / GOAT love me today, hate me tomorrow, switch up my style.”
The collaboration comes on the heels of Nas and Hit-Boy’s collaborative album, King’s Disease III as well as 21 Savage’s joint album with Drake, Her Loss.
