Westside Gunn links with Black Star in the heart of Brooklyn in their new music video, “Peppas”.
Courtesy of Daily Gems, the Flygod, Yasiin Bey, and Talib Kweli hit up the local jerk chicken spot Peppas, where they feast on Jamaican cuisine with friends and mingle with the spot’s staff and customers.
“Matte-black dynamite, blast radials, black radio,” raps Yasiin on his opening verse. “Core capability, flaco facility / Fly guy, do or die, Bed-Stuy energy.
Talib follows suite spitting “Personally, I find that you cowardly niggas weak as fuck / When justice, no peace too much, could never be enough,” before Gunn caps off the Conductor Williams-produced track with “Everybody know my deen, burn clean / Fendi sweatpants, got the MAC on the drawstring.”
“Peppas” is the latest video off Westside Gunn’s new album, 10 which also features A$AP Rocky, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Run The Jewels, Conway The Machine, Benny The Butcher, and more.
