Jill Scott (Affectionately known as “Jilly from Philly” ), is returning to a performance venue near you in celebration of her iconic platinum album “Who Is Jill Scott?” Words & Sounds Vol. 1 . The 3x Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter and actress has just announced a new set of 2023 tour dates that will run from February through June. Tickets go on sale Friday, December 9th at 10 am.
Scott’s 2000 debut album, “Who Is Jill Scott?”: Words and Sounds Vol.1, went platinum, and the follow-ups “Beautifully Human: Words and Sounds Vol.2 and “The Real Thing: Words and Sounds vol.3 both reached gold status.
The 19-city tour will kick off in Augusta. GA and make stops through Macon, GA., Columbia S.C., Jacksonville, FL., and her hometown Philadelphia, PA., Brooklyn, N.Y., Boston, MA., and more– wrapping up Los Angeles, CA. March 31st. Fans can expect Jill to perform all-time favorites along with her classic chart-topping hits like, “Gettin In the way,” “A long Walk,” and her impassioned ” The Way” and so many more of her iconic songs.
