Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has teamed with OVO Sound superstar PARTYNEXTDOOR for his new single “Sex in the Porsche.”
The trap soul banger hears a slurred-voiced PARTYNEXTDOOR flexing about his sexual antics in a luxury ride with unmistakable charm. “Sex in the Porsche / Your legs like the Tesla doors,” he sings.
Diddy is in hot pursuit, referencing his 2010 album Last Train to Paris and an iconic bar from The Notorious B.I.G. in his infectious verse.
Diddy’s new song “Sex In The Porsche” is the follow-up to the summer breakup anthem “Gotta Move On.”
It soared to No. 1 on the R&B charts, staying atop Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart for two weeks. It marked Diddy’s and Tiller’s first leader on the latter list and R&B radio.
“Gotta Move On” has amassed more than 19 million streams on Spotify since releasing June 17 via Diddy’s Love Records, in partnership with Motown Records.
Three remixes followed, including a “Queens Remix” that featured Ashanti and Yung Miami of City Girls. It also received an official music video, which has garnered 5.3 million views on YouTube.
Be on the lookout for Diddy’s upcoming album, which is slated to arrive in early 2023 via Love Records/Motown Records.
“Music has always been my first love, Love Records is the next chapter is about getting back to the love and making the best music of my life,” said Combs.
“For the label, I’m focused on creating timeless R&B music with the next generation of artists and producers. Motown is the perfect partner for my album and I’m excited to add to its legacy.”
Additionally, he confirmed in a series of Instagram discussions his next album would feature appearances from The Weeknd, Jazmine Sullivan, Mary J. Blige, Summer Walker, Ty Dolla $ign, H.E.R. and Kehlani.
In January, PARTYNEXTDOOR teamed up with OG Parker for “No Fuss.” Before that, he made his acclaimed COLOURS EP available across streaming platforms for the first time.
PARTYNEXTDOOR’s last official album was 2020’s PARTYMOBILE. Two of its tracks, “Loyal” featuring Drake and “Believe It” with Rihanna, were certified platinum by the RIAA.
