Emerging R&B group WanMor has released their “Every Pretty Girl In The City (Remix)” featuring King Combs.
The rapper, son of Sean “Diddy” Combs, opens the remix with a smooth-talking verse.
“You know my style, as soon as I touch down / I tell them the King’s here, they tell them to come now / I need everyone, cause if you pretty I might get you some,” raps Combs.
About the collaboration, Combs shared, “It’s dope to see what they’re doing and I’m glad I got to be a part of the remix.”
WanMor released the original version of their debut single in September. “‘Every Pretty Girl In The City’ is a celebration of all girls in every city whose ‘pretty’ shines from the inside out,” they explained.
The catchy tune will appear on the group’s debut EP, which will release in 2023 via Mary J. Blige’s new imprint Beautiful Life Productions and 300 Entertainment.
Blige announced the quartet’s signing when they released “Every Pretty Girl In The City.”
“There’s been so much conversation about the state of R&B, and the next generation of R&B artists,” said Blige. “This generation has been giving us great R&B, and that feeling, that soul and that sound remains in our DNA. When we heard WanMor sing, we knew we could stop looking. They are IT!”
She added, “Supporting and cultivating true R&B talent is why I started Beautiful Life Productions, and I couldn’t be more proud to do this with these young men.”
WanMor consists of real-life brothers Big Boy, Chulo, Tyvas, and Rocco, who are the sons of Wanya Morris of the legendary R&B group Boyz II Men.
WanMor recently wrapped up their Every Girl In The City Tour. They delivered pop-up performances at elementary and middle schools up in major U.S. cities such as Atlanta, Baltimore, New York City, Philadelphia and more.
In 2020, WanMor collaborated with rapper Lil Uzi Vert on his album, Eternal Atake.
They appeared on four tracks: “Celebrity Station,” “Bigger Than Life,” “Prices” and “Urgency” with Syd.
