Singer and songwriter Vedo has teamed with Chris Brown for his new single “Do You Mind.”
On the track, the R&B gents make flirty come-ons to their respective partners.
Vedo sings in the chorus: “Do you mind if I come through? / Mind if I touch you? / Mind if I mess up your frontal? / Pour it up, roll it up, wе can smoke too / Do you mind? Put it in my face / Do you mind? Make you tap out, don’t play / Do you mind? Ovеr on the Westside, the best side / You know it’s only good vibes, do you mind?”
Brown appears in the second verse, singing, “Will you let me do you right? / Can I have the night? / Don’t make me ask you twice / I like what I like, I’m not the type that’s gon’ be stalkin’ you.”
“Do You Mind” is the second single from Vedo’s sixth album, Mood Swings, out Jan. 13 via New Wav Music Group/Island Prolific/EMPIRE. In November 2022, Vedo released the heartwarming lead single, “Forever.” It was accompanied by a cinematic video directed by AlphaMale Visuals.
“‘Forever’ is a clear depiction of finding Pure Love. Finding peace in a world of chaos,” Vedo explained.
At the end of December, Vedo released a live performance video of “Forever.”
Mood Swings will follow Vedo’s joint album with producer OG Parker, While You Wait, which dropped in August 2022.
Vedo’s last solo album, 1320, was released in 2021. The album featured Ari Lennox, Lloyd, Jacquees, Eric Bellinger and Erica Banks.
Aside from his music, Vedo has been collaborating with other R&B acts. Last year, he joined forces with Tank on his final R&B album, R&B Money (“Morning”). He also co-wrote Brown’s single “WE (Warm Embrace)” from his tenth album, Breezy.
Additionally, Vedo supported global superstar Usher as a background vocalist for his viral Tiny Desk concert alongside Bellinger.
