R&B singer Kenny Lattimore and his wife Judge Faith Jenkins have announced the birth of their daughter, Skylar Leigh Lattimore.
The couple’s bundle of joy arrived last week. Lattimore went to Instagram to reveal the news in a cute video.
“Welcome to the world Skylar Leigh Lattimore! Our sweet, beautiful baby girl arrived last week and mom and baby are doing well! Faith, I marvel at your strength and resilience and am so happy our daughter has you as her guiding light in life,” Lattimore wrote.
“You are going to be the most incredible mother to our Skylar. Just like in this video I think she’ll always instinctly know you’re just a finger grab away 😊! @judgefaithjenkins.”
Jenkins wrote in a separate post, “@kennylattimore, the last nine months you have supported me in all the ways I needed it most — I watched you juggle a lot with your schedule & you somehow managed to balance it all. If Skylar ever wants to know what true love looks like, she will look no further than you.”
Jenkins went on to share that she is recovering and processing the “many emotions” of becoming “a mom now.”
Lattimore and Jenkins first announced they were expecting their first child together in August 2022.
“Faith and I are so happy to share that we are expecting a little baby Lattimore!! We are so excited for this next chapter of our lives,” Lattimore wrote in an Instagram caption.
He added, “Faith: it is a dream to do life with you everyday and you are going to be the best mother and biggest blessing to our baby’s life in every way. I love you! @judgefaithjenkins.”
Jenkins shared, “Kenny as I’ve told you countless times over the last three years I simply could not ask for a better husband and life partner and – now – father to our soon-to-be little human!!”
In October 2022, the couple revealed their baby’s gender in a video posted on Instagram.
“We are so excited to share – and so many of you guessed correctly. Kenny you are going to be the best dad to our little scholar,” Jenkins wrote in the caption.
“I can only hope our baby has your kind heart & genuine soul as I know the world will be that much of a better place.”
