Emerging R&B group WanMor has released their new single “Mine.” It was produced by Ivan Barias (Musiq Soulchild, Jill Scott) and Ronald “Flip” Colson (Rihanna, Usher). The two co-wrote the track with Kristal Oliver.
Arriving just in time for Valentine’s Day, “Mine” finds the group of brothers enamored by a special girl of their respective dreams and not being afraid to show her off.
“Can you believe she’s mine? / Hard to believe she’s mine / All I wanna do is show her to the world / I don’t need no other girl to see she’s mine,” WanMor sings in the radio-ready chorus.
Regarding their new single, WanMor says, “’Mine’ is about our feelings for the girl we always wanted. Being impressed by her in every way and wanting to tell everybody.”
“Mine” is the follow-up to WanMor’s debut single “Every Pretty Girl In The City” and the King Combs-assisted remix.
Both songs will appear on the R&B quartet’s forthcoming debut EP, which will release on Mary J. Blige’s new label, Beautiful Life Productions, and 300 Entertainment.
“There’s been so much conversation about the state of R&B, and the next generation of R&B artists,” said Blige. “This generation has been giving us great R&B, and that feeling, that soul and that sound remains in our DNA. When we heard WanMor sing, we knew we could stop looking. They are IT!”
Blige added, “Supporting and cultivating true R&B talent is why I started Beautiful Life Productions, and I couldn’t be more proud to do this with these young men.”
