I dunno what it is about Blue Ridge Rock Festival, but it seems like it’s the metal version of the fountain of youth, as this year’s four-day affair will host a special reunion show of Job For A Cowboy. Organizers are saying it’s going to be the band’s first show in seven years.
As you may or may not remember, last year’s Blue Ridge Rock Festival saw God Forbid hit the stage for the first time in several years, so it’s pretty cool that death metal’s getting a pretty consistent band back with Job For A Cowboy. This reunion show also makes sense since the band is apparently almost done working on a new album.

It’s wild to even think that it’s been so long since JFAC played live. There was a time when they were all over the fucking place. You couldn’t go to a show without practically tripping over a Job For A Cowboy set. Yet now to see and hear them in 2023 is probably one hell of a special treat for new and old fans alike.
