Raheem DeVaughn has joined forces with Goapele for their new song, “Love Around the Clock.” It was produced by The Colleagues and features saxophonist Vandell Andrew.
“Love Around the Clock” is a silky bedroom jam that hears DeVaughn and Goapele singing about a long night of lovemaking.
“So let’s go rounds from 1 a.m., 2 a.m., 3 a.m., 4 a.m. / Baby, gimme all you got / I want your love around the clock,” they harmonize in the chorus.
“Love Around the Clock” comes just a week after DeVaughn, The Colleagues and Andrew released their silken ballad “Euphoria.” Both songs will appear on their collaborative album, Love Euphoria, out Feb. 10 on New Era Soul Records and The Colleagues Music.
Love Euphoria consists of eight tracks, including two other versions of “Euphoria.” The album is DeVaughn and The Colleagues’ second project collaboration. DeVaughn’s 2020 album, What A Time To Be In Love, was produced exclusively by The Colleagues.
They also produced on DeVaughn’s 2018 album, Decade Of A Love King, and 2019’s The Love Reunion.
DeVaughn appeared on The Colleagues 2022 album, Love Lust Vulnerability, on “Love Songs.” The album also featured Teedra Moses, Devon Culture, Devvon Terrell and Lewis Sky.
