Type O Negative and Crowbar Members Start New Supergroup, Eye Am

Former Type O Negative members Kenny Hickey (guitar/vocals) and Johnny Kelly (drums) are playing in a new supergroup formed with Crowbar main man Kirk Windstein and bassist Todd Strange. According to a Facebook post made on the Type O Negative page, the band is called Eye Am and they are recording their first single in Florida with Less Than Jake bassist Roger Lima.

“Kenny and Johnny sent me a cool update. They are jamming in a new project called EYE AM. This includes Kenny and Johnny as well as Kirk Windstein of Crowbar, Down, and Kingdom of Sorrow, and Todd Strange, formerly of Crowbar and Down. The debut single will be recorded by bassist Roger Lima of Less Than Jake at his studio called The Moathouse”

While you wait for recordings from Eye Am to surface, the Type O Negative estate will release a 2LP package of Dead Again in black vinyl, light green transparent vinyl, light green/black/white splatter vinyl, and mint green marble vinyl as well as a black cassette. That’s out on May 5 via Nuclear Blast.
