Ahead of the release of their live album Tortura en La Iglesia En Vivo, Brazilian thrash metal band Torture Squad released a new video for “Possessed By Horror.” Featuring fan testimonials recorded at the sold out July 16, 2022 concert, the video showcases the band’s highly energetic live show.
“We recorded some testimonials from fans who were in line at our sold-out show, and this compilation generated an interactive clip of the song ‘Possessed by Horror’ and that makes it special. I really like the performance of this song live, in the studio recording (with the former vocalist) it sounds like thrash but live with my voice it comes with a style that is close to prog death metal.”
For those not in the know, Torture Squad has been around for three decades, touring throughout Brazil, Latin America and Europe. Over the years, they’ve played alongside legendary acts like Anthrax, Slayer, Sepultura, Scorpions and Iron Maiden at various major festivals.
