NAACP Image Awards 2023: List of R&B Winners

The 54th NAACP Image Awards took place Saturday, Feb. 25, in Pasadena, California. Award-winning artist and actress Queen Latifah hosted the star-studded ceremony, the first live broadcast in three years.

Beyoncé led this year’s nominations in the music field with five nods, including Outstanding Album (Renaissance) and Outstanding Soul/R&B Song (“Cuff It“), both for which she won at night one of its virtual awards.

Chris Brown brought home two awards on night one, including Outstanding Male Artist and Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration (Contemporary) for the Wizkid-assisted “Call Me Every Day.

During night two, Jennifer Hudson was honored with the award for Outstanding Host in a Talk or News/Information (Series or Special) — Individual or Ensemble for The Jennifer Hudson Show.

More winners were announced leading up to the main event on Saturday night.
