Apple Music Celebrates and streams De La Soul’s full discography with a full day take over

All day today Friday, March 3rd, Apple Music celebrates De La Soul and the much-anticipated streaming arrival of their first six albums while signed to Tommy Boy Records, which will is now available exclusively on Spatial Audio on Apple Music.

The day kicked off with the broadcast of Ebro Dardens’ previously unreleased 2018 interview with the group- the group’s final interview before the tragic passing of Dave “Trugoy The dove” Jolicoeur’s this past February. The conversation details the groups’ long hard road to get to this point, how they found their groundbreaking style, the groups’ advice to A$AP Rocky, seeing themselves in Odd Future, their legacy, and much more.

A 2-hour live broadcast featuring Apple Music Radio’s Zane Lowe, Ebro, Nadeska, and Estelle featuring special guest Pete Rock, Black Thought, Yassin Bey ( Mos Def). Ab-soul, DJ Shadow, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Damon Albarn, and others as they discuss the cultural impact of De La Soul and much, much more.
