After nearly three years, Joyner Lucas releases the second installment of his “Devil’s Work”.
On the track, the Worcester, MA rapper continues to vent on the ongoing struggles of the culture and pays homage to its recent fallen soldiers.
“But either way, take it back and make Tory hop inside a different car / Broke my heart when DMX died, that hit the core,” he raps. “Feel like that nigga was an angel in a different form / Might’ve had a drug problem like he did before / But he was fighting demons and I know that that’s a different war.”
“Devil’s Work 2” is the follow-up to “Devil’s Work” off his 2020 album, ADHD. It is the first single off his forthcoming album, Not Now, I’m Busy., which will be his first since his Evolution album also released in 2020.
