Omarion is entering a new era of music. The Grammy-nominated singer has announced his new single, “Big Vibez,” will arrive March 24.
In a series of Instagram posts, Omarion has teased the catchy song.
“Girl, you lookin’ in that Lo Ui (Aye) / You should bring a friend that’s a two-piece / Dinner movie at my place and movie / And for dessert I wanna taste / Spread yo legs and feed my face,” Omarion sings coasting on a radio-ready production.
“Big Vibez” isn’t the only song Omarion has been promoting via Instagram; other songs include “Candy,” “Girls” and “Serious.”
All three songs will appear on Omarion’s forthcoming album, Full Circle: Sonic Book One. According to his Instagram bio and other recent posts, the album will arrive on May 5.
Full Circle: Sonic Book One will mark Omarion’s first proper album since 2014’s Sex Playlist. The album debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart. It spawned the hit single “Post To Be” featuring Jhené Aiko and Chris Brown.
The DJ Mustard collaboration shot to No. 2 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Hot R&B Songs charts, respectively. It also reached No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, his third-highest career entry, following the smash singles “Ice Box” (No. 12) and “Let Me Hold You” with Bow Wow (No. 4).
Moreover, “Post To Be” is 3x multi-platinum with over three million equivalent units sold.
In 2020, Omarion shared the project, The Kinection. The 12-track effort, released on Omarion Worldwide, included features from Wale, Ghostface Killah and T-Pain.
A year later, Omarion released two collaborative tracks: “Ex” with Bow Wow and Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em and “We Will Never Forget” alongside Lalah Hathaway and Kierra Sheard-Kelly.
Omarion kept new music flowing in early 2022 with two cover variations of “With A Little Help From My Friends” by The Beatles.
Music aside, Omarion put out his first book, Unbothered: The Power of Choosing Joy, last fall.
The self-help guide unpacks how Omarion “has centered his life around holistic wellness, detailing the practices he uses including breathing exercises, mediation, yoga, dancing, ancient mantras, and an overall embrace of positivity.”
As he prepares to play this year’s Lovers & Friends Festival, Omarion’s five-part docuseries, Omega: The Gift & The Curse, is getting major network attention.
Omega: The Gift & The Curse tells the former B2K member’s side of the behind-the-scenes drama during the award-winning Millennium Tour.
As the logline reads, the docuseries allows Omarion to give “his unique perspective and unprecedented access into his private life…addressing a range of topics from the turbulent relationship with the mother of his children to his thoughts about her relationship with his bandmate.”
