Nivea celebrates her birthday with new music. The R&B veteran has returned with her new single “Killa.”
The devotional tune hears Nivea outlining everything she would do in the name of love.
Speaking on “Killa,” Nivea wrote in an Instagram caption: “This record means a lot to me & OH MY LAMB I’m so anxious for you all to hear it! I know a lot of people will be able to relate to it, we’ve all been there! What would you do for LOVE? The REAL kinda LOVE, that ‘I don’t want nobody else’ kind of LOVE!”
“Killa” is the follow-up to Nivea’s 2022 song “Virginia.” In 2019, she released her EP, Mirrors, which included her single “Circles.”
Music aside, Nivea stars in Peacock’s new reality series Queens Court with Tamar Braxton and Evelyn Lozada. The dating show is “hosted by power couple Holly Robinson and Rodney Peete guiding the Queens to find love.” Queens Court has ten episodes and is streaming now.
In 2021, Nivea appeared on the reality show BET Presents: The Encore. She was joined by other women from R&B girl groups, including Shamari Devoe, Fallon King, Felisha King-Harvey, Pamela Long, Kiely Williams, Lemisha Fields and Aubrey O’Day. Several cast members, not including Nivea, formed the supergroup BluPrint.
