Grammy-winning musician and producer Pharrell Williams has recently announced that his annual Something in the Water Festival’ will feature its first-ever R&B Block Party experience. The experience will take place April 28-30 at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

This year, the festival is expanding its focus on R&B music from all eras. DJs scheduled to perform are renowned International DJ Mad Skillz, as well as local favorites such as DJ Bee, DJ Lonnie B, DJ Greyl D, Izzy the DJ, DJ SK, and several more.

The festival, which debuted in 2019, has quickly become one of the most anticipated music events in the United States, attracting thousands of attendees to Virginia Beach, Pharrell’s hometown. Williams, renowned for his eclectic taste in music, has previously featured a diverse range of artists at Something in the Water, including rock, hip-hop, and electronic music.

‘The Something in the Water Festival’ is more than just a music festival. It also celebrates the unique culture and community of Virginia Beach. Pharrell’s love for his hometown is evident in his commitment to the festival, which serves as his way of giving back to the community.

The purpose of the RnB Block Party is to provide a space for the community to come together and pay tribute to the significant impact that R&B music has had on the world. This event is unique in that it features only DJs playing R&B exclusively.

It will be held at Neptune Park’s 31st Street Stage during Something In The Water, and admission is free. However, VIP tickets can be purchased starting April 26.
