Monochrome and drenched in blood, the latest music video and single from blackened heavy metal band Cloak dropped earlier today, giving fans a taste of their upcoming third full-length album Black Flame Eternal.
As the album’s final single before its release on May 26, the band said they deliberately chose this track as the last hint at what their next offering will be like because of how unrelenting and dark it is.
“We’re not letting you off easy with our third and final single. This next song is a monstrous anthem dedicated to the bearers of the Black Flame and the offspring of the night. Unchained, unbound, and forever free we charge ahead. The last to complete the trinity, this is ‘The Holy Dark.’”
Black Flame Eternal will be the band’s follow up to 2019’s The Burning Dawn. It’s slated for release on May 26 via Seasons of Mist, though you can pre-save or pre-order your copy today.
