Gunna back.
Gunna makes his long-awaited return with his post-prison release, “bread & butter”, which arrives alongside its music video.
Directed by Leff, the black-and-white visual spots the YSL rapper out in the Hollywood Hills where addresses some of his most recent events.
“Never gave no statement or agreed to take no stand on ’em / On whatever you niggas on, then trust me, I’ma stand on it,” he raps in reference to his high-profile case. “Lawyers and the DA did some sneaky shit, I fell for it / On my Ps and Qs because, this time, I be prepared for it,” he goes on while lounging in his lavish crib, cruising in his Porsche 911, and shopping for jewelry.
“bread & butter” marks Gunna’s first official release since last year’s chart-topping mixtape, DS4EVER. The rapper was released from prison last December after serving 7 months after being indicted on RICO charges along with members of YSL including Young Thug, who still remains in custody.
