Statik Selektah is boom bapping in a city near you with his tenth studio album, Round Trip.
For the Lawrence, MA-based producer’s latest excursion, he rounds up a few members from the Wu-Tang Clan for his “Unpredictable” single performed by Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, and Inspectah Deck.
Statik Selektah rounds up other heavy hitters for the 20-track set. He travels from the East to the West and the dirty South on “Ain’t Too Much” featuring Conway The Machine, Ab-Soul, and Bun B before circling back home to”Full Circle (Showoff Crew)” alongside Termanology, Reks, JFK, Ea$y Money, and Harley Harl.
During Selektah’s trek, Joey Bada$$ rolls dolo for his “Life & Times”, Logic holds it down on “In The Pocket”, and Russ checks in with “Limbo”. Ransom and AZ trade raps on “Historic” and both Benny The Butcher and Termanolgy make their appearances on “Different League”. Other guests include De La Soul’s Posdnuos, G-Eazy, M.O.P, Cormega, Symba, Stove God Cooks, Boldy James, Rome Streets, Tha God Fahim, Millyz, Elzhi, IDK, Nems, Kota The Friend, Nina Sky, Reuben Vincent, Lukah, and Redveil.
Round Trip is the follow-up to Statik Selektah’s 2020 album, The Balancing Act. However since then, the producer has released numerous collaborative albums from the likes of Termanology, Kota The Friend, OT The Real, Bun B, Nym Lo, and more.
