King Charles’ Army Band Performs “Paranoid” in Honor of Ozzy Osbourne at Buckingham Palace

King Charles’ official army band, known as The Band of the Coldstream Guards, performed Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid” in tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne during the traditional changing of the guards outside Buckingham Palace in London on Thursday (July 31st).

The band of brass and woodwind musicians, along with a couple of percussionists, offered up an instrumental version of the classic heavy metal song, led by a conductor, all while in their traditional uniforms (watch below). While the Royal Family hasn’t issued any official statements regarding Ozzy’s passing, back in 2003, when King Charles was still Prince Charles, he sent Ozzy a bottle of whiskey as a get-well present after the metal icon was severely injured in an ATV accident.

Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22nd at the age of 76. He was honored with afuneral processionin Birmingham on Wednesday (July 30th), followed by aprivate memorial on Thursday (July 31st).
