Donald Trump, who famously can’t take a joke at his expense, went on a social media tirade after the 2026 Grammys. As part of his rant, Trump threatened to sue host Trevor Noah over a barb about Trump’s alleged ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The pointed jab came after Billie Eilish won a Grammy for Best Song of the Year for “WILDFLOWER,” after which Noah said, “That is a Grammy that every artist wants almost as much as Trump wants Greenland, which makes sense because Epstein’s island is gone, he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton.”
In a Truth Social post, Trump responded in typical fashion by insisting, “I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media.”

He continued, “Noah, a total loser, better get his facts straight, and get them straight fast. It looks like I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C., and suing him for plenty$ Ask Little George Slopadopolus, and others, how that all worked out. Also ask CBS! Get ready Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!”
It’s worth noting thatThe New York Times discovered more than 5,300 Epstein files with references to Trump and related terms in the latest dump on Friday.
The evening also featured several swipes at ICE’s unprecedented and violent crackdown on undocumented immigrants, which recently resulted in the killings of US citizens Renée Good and Alex Pretti. In addition to several musicians wearing ICE OUT pins throughout Grammys Week events, Bad Bunny and Billie Eilish criticized the government agency’s actions during their respective acceptance speeches.
This certainly added to Trump’s motivation for ranting that the show was the “WORST, virtually unwatchable!”
