Tracy Morgan‘s return to NBC is almost here as his all-new comedy series, The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, gears up for an early premiere ahead of its slate debut in February. The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins will now debut with a special premiere on Sunday, January 18, at 10/9c on NBC following the Los Angeles Rams and Chicago Bears NFL playoff game. The show will broadcast an encore of the pilot on its originally slated premiere date of Monday, February 23 at 8/7c, and a new episode will air directly after at 8:30/7:30c.

What is The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins about?
The single-camera comedy will follow Morgan, who stars as a disgraced former football player named Reggie who is on a mission to rehabilitate his image with the help of an award-winning filmmaker named Arthur Tobin (Daniel Radcliffe). In order to win back the admiration of his fans, and the respect of his family, Reggie will also have to confront ghosts from his past.

As mentioned above, Tracy Morgan stars as the titular Reggie Dinkins, with Radcliffe featuring as Arthur Tobin, who is shooting the immersive documentary at Reggie’s mansion. Erika Alexander stars as Reggie’s childhood sweetheart, Monica, who co-parents with him despite divorcing years ago, and Bobby Moynihan features as Gator, Reggie’s loyal former teammate. Precious Way and Jalyn Hall will also star in the series.
Additionally, it’s been revealed thatHeidi Gardner, Ronny Chieng, Anna Camp, Corbin Bernsen, Craig Robinson, Michael Kosta, and more will guest star in the series.
Who is making The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins?
Morgan will executive produce the series alongside 30 Rock cohorts Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, who serve as co-showrunners. Meanwhile, Carlock will wrote the pilot alongside fellow executive producer Sam Means. As mentioned above, Fey, Carlock, and Means all worked with Morgan on the Fey-created 30 Rock, in which he delivered an Emmy-nominated comedy performance as Tracy Jordan. Rhys Thomas serves as an executive producer and director on the pilot.
