Jaz Karis Releases New Song ‘Mistake’

Jaz Karis is determined to make the right choice on her new single, “Mistake.”

Produced by Monro (Jhené Aiko, Sinéad Harnett), Karis touches on unknowingly being the other woman. While she’s confident that a piece of omitted information wasn’t a mistake, she knows the best thing to do is to walk away.

With dewy guitar and piano in the straightforward production, she sings on the hook “Made me feel so secure when I wasn’t / How could you be so unsure in the moment? / No, it weren’t a mistake, babe / Surely it’s a piss take, babe / I hope she got her own place, babe, yeah, yeah, yeah / Oh, yeah, yeah, baby.”

The singer/songwriter released her latest project All Eyes on U  in July 2020.
