Back in December, Marvel broke the internet when it unveiled the various new projects that are in the works. Along with confirming series such as She-Hulk, WHAT IF…. and Ms. Marvel, Marvel Studios revealed that Loki was slated to arrive in May. However, the highly-anticipated series soon faced delays and its May release date was pulled.

Now, a new premiere date for Loki has finally been confirmed. This week, Marvel Studios revealed that the Tom Hiddleston-filled original series is premiering on June 11.

The show follows Loki, the God of Mischief, as he steps out of his brother Thor‘s shadow. The Disney+ show takes place after the events that transpired in Avengers: Endgame. Along with Hiddleston, the show also stars Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.

The June 11 premiere date means that Loki will be the third Marvel Phase 4 original series to debut in 2021. Back in January, WandaVision premiered on Disney+. So far, the show has caught the attention of Bikini Kill and My Chemical Romance fans for very good reasons.

In just a few weeks, Falcon and the Winter Soldier is also premiering on the Disney streaming platform. Like most of Marvel Studios’ upcoming projects, the series faced delays due to the COVID-19 crisis. Currently, the show is slated to arrive on Mar. 19.
