Steve Von Till (Neurosis) Posts Ambient New Solo Track, “Called From the Wind”

Neurosis guitarist Steve Von Till has shared “Called From the Wind,” another piece from his forthcoming ambient solo album, A Deep Voiceless Wilderness.

If you feel as if this tune sounds familiar, that’s likely because it is: A Deep Voiceless Wilderness collects instrumental iterations of all the songs from Von Till’s 2020 release, No Wilderness Deep Enough.

Von Till explains of “Called From the Wind” and the accompanying video:

“Jakub Moth hints at the emotion behind a timeless story about humanity and landscape without saying too much, without limiting the universal scope of the sound. As I have removed the verbal language from the ambient version, he has added visual poetry to accompany it.”

A Deep Voiceless Wilderness comes out on April 30 via Neurot Recordings; pre-order it here. You can listen to the previously released track, “The Emptiness Swallows Us All,” right here.
