Emerging singer/songwriter SMITH finds himself stuck in a merry-go-round relationship on his new single “Round and Round.”
Over a soulful, yet bouncy production, helmed by Jay Abe, SMITH vents about his frustrations with hitting a dead-end with his partner. “It ain’t been the same since you left / And the least you could’ve done was say goodbye,” he sings.
Speaking on his new single, SMITH tells Rated R&B, “This record is truly like a coming of age for me. I’ve been making music for some time and I feel like now I’ve entered a space in my artistry where things have just clicked. ‘Round and Round’ is truly a labor of love and is a total indication of what’s to come with my debut album.”
“Round and Round” is the follow-up to SMITH’s 2020 tracks “Nothing to Lose” and “Thicker Than Wine.” He is currently working on his as-yet-titled debut album.
