BJ The Chicago Kid Recruits Eric Bellinger for New Song ‘Type of Day’

BJ The Chicago Kid continues his summer domination with his new song, “Type Of Day,” featuring Eric Bellinger.

Spending a day with the girl of their choice, the R&B crooners use the chill track to sing about taking a cruise and blowing trees. The smooth guitar backbeat accentuates the good feeling the lyrics give you about creating good vibes.

“This that backwoods / This that top back / Play it when you ride slow / Or even when you speeding / It’s just that type of day / It’s that wood grain / Chevrolet / Interstate / Cruising type of day / It’s just that type of day,” sings Bellinger in the opening line.

“Type Of Day” is the second offering from the Chicago crooner’s BJ Wednesdays series, which continues until July 21. He kicked it off last week with his rendition of “Fancy” by The-Dream. Then, just a week before his remake, BJ released “The Chi,” named after the hit Showtime show.

BJ is currently readying the world for a new chapter in his musicianship. He released his Grammy-nominated album, 1123, back in 2019.

Regarding Bellinger, he recently dropped the uplifting song “Shine On The World.” The first single from his upcoming summer album arrived with a video.
