Malachiae has a new name now: Chiae. The Motown signee also has a new single titled “Cash Out,” and it arrives with a lavish music video directed by Spike Ree.
With T-Minus (Drake, Tinashe, Queen Naija) on the meticulous production, Chiae sings about how he is dedicated to running up a check. Though his focus is on growing his bands, he doesn’t lose sight of entertaining his lady when she pays him a visit from out of town. He wants her to know that it’s all expenses paid when she’s rolling with him.
“Cash Out” is Chiae’s first new solo song of the year. In 2020, he released a pair of one-off singles: “Get to the Bag” and “Bedroom To A Club.” Both tracks were released under Malachiae.
There is no word on an upcoming project. It was promised last year that a summer project would be released via Motown Records.
