Stokley Celebrates the Beauty and Essence of Black Sisters in Visual “Woman”

Mulit-Grammy nominated singer/songwriter and producer Stokley celebrates the Beauty and Essence of Black Nubian Woman in new video for his latest single “Woman” featuring afro-beat star KiDi.   Woman is from Stokley’s forthcoming album titled ” Sankofa.”

Written and produced by Shakespear, the song is a beautiful ode to Black Sisters everywhere.  “Woman” affectionately speaks to their strength and worth to this world as Queens.   Stokley, refers to Black Sisters  as “the greatest producers of life who help shape the world,” and we couldn’t agree more.

The video, directed by REX is set in the breathtaking West African country of Ghana (formerly the Gold Coast) and highlights the gorgeous riveting colors and landscapes the country has to offer.  Stunning hues of Black beauty and perfection, soft melodic steel drums heard throughout the song, spectacular ocean views  along with his superior vocal delivery, transcend you to a place of warmth and pride.

As the lyrics suggests, “Don’t need a crystal ball to know at all I’td be a cold world without a woman…/Yeah I’m a king but still I need my rib…/I need a queen that can keep me grounded…/Don’t need no mirror mirror on the wall to know There’s no world without a woman…”

Thank you Stokley for recognizing and celebrating Black Woman, we appreciate you.
