JoJo Shares New Song ‘Worst (I Assume)’

This year’s fall music schedule includes JoJo and her forthcoming capsule project titled Trying Not To Think About It. It’s out October 1. It marks her first music collection since last year’s December Baby and good to know

Inspired by ending 2020 with a sense of “feeling sooooo lost, scared, and confused,” JoJo wants to be transparent with her journey in hopes that it encourages her loyalists to be empowered.

“If you listen, I hope this project makes you feel seen, validated, not crazy, and hopeful that you don’t feel bad forever. You’re more in control than you think,” she said in a statement.

The news of Trying Not To Think About It arrives with the first official single “Worst (I Assume)” and its supporting video. Check out both below.

JoJo is taking her new project on the road a day after its release. The six-date tour kicks off on October 2 in Boston at The Sinclair, making rounds in cities such as New York City and Atlanta, before wrapping up in Los Angeles on October 11, at El Rey Theatre. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. EST and can be found on her official website

Earlier this year, JoJo released the tracks “Creature of Habit” and “American Mood.”
