Sampha Reissues Debut Album ‘Process’ With Two New Tracks

Artist appreciation for their fans comes in various forms, whether a social media post, a bow to a concert audience, or even a bonus edition to one of their favorite albums.

Sampha opted for the first and last options, upgrading his 2017 debut album, Process, with two tracks that were once exclusive to the Japanese market.

The South London native decision to globally upload the tracks “In-between and Overseas” and “Answer” on streaming platforms was sparked by the recent fifth anniversary of the LP.

He tweeted to his fans, “I just want to say thank you to everyone who’s listened, and to everyone who helped make the album. I’ve added two tracks that were on the Japanese version!”

Process received glowing reviews upon its release and largely at year-end, making dozens of best albums list.

“(No One Knows Me) Like the Piano,” the album’s most popular song on Spotify, has been played on the streaming service more than 75 million times.

Though Sampha has left his fans anticipating his sophomore album, he’s stayed active through the years. He recently worked on Alicia Keys’ 2020 album ALICIA and serpentwithfeet’s latest effort, Deacon.

Sampha revealed that he’s “feeling good about the new music” he’s been creating in the studio. “Looking forward to sharing with you all,” he added
