Simple Plan have teamed up with Sum 41‘s Deryck Whibley on the new single “Ruin My Life.” The track follows the band’s recent single “The Antidote.” It also comes ahead of more new music, including an album, out later this year.

Simple Plan spoke about the new single in a press release. “‘Ruin My Life’ is a song about overcoming adversity, going through a difficult life situation, and not only surviving it, but becoming an even stronger and more resilient version of yourself because of it,” the band share. “It’s fun, catchy, energetic and empowering, and we’re so excited to share it with our fans. Having Deryck from Sum 41 sing on it with us makes it even more special.”
In other Simple Plan news, 2022 marks the 20th anniversary of their debut album, No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls. The track “I’m Just A Kid” has blown up on TikTok recently, being used in over 3 million videos on the app.
