Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and producer Alicia Keys’ has teamed with Apple Music for her inaugural Holiday Masquerade Ball.
It’s set to stream exclusively on the platform and @AppleMusic on TikTok on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. PST/10 p.m. EST.
The one-night-only extravaganza was recently filmed at The United Palace in New York, New York. The show will include special appearances from Jon Batiste and emerging artist JVKE.
“This is THEE Holiday party of the season,” said Keys. “I’m grateful to Apple Music and TikTok for helping me create a magic moment to showcase my first holiday album, in such a special way, for everyone around the world.”
Ebro Darden, Apple Music’s global editorial head of hip-hop and R&B, added, “Alicia Keys is a global icon who never fails to deliver an unforgettable live show. We’re excited to welcome her to the Apple Music Live stage to kick off the holiday season and celebrate an incredible year in music.”
Keys’ concert was to celebrate her debut Christmas album, Santa Baby, which was released in November on Alicia Keys Records.
The 11-track project features four original songs written by Keys, including the lead single “December Back 2 June.”
“It’s gonna be your favorite soundtrack as you’re gearing up for family ties, decorations, holiday parties, time off and time for reflection and hibernation! Fireplaces and wine, nothing but good times,” Keys told her fans in an email blast.
She added, “I wanted to do it now because it’s a new energy. I wanted to share some of my favorite songs and my style on all of them. I also wanted to write some meaningful NEW songs that reflect the times.”
Santa Baby was released exclusively on Apple Music. However, CD and vinyl copies are available.
