Jacquees’ ‘Sincerely for You’ Makes Top 20 Debut on Billboard Top R&B Albums Chart

Jacquees makes his fourth appearance on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart as Sincerely For You opens at No. 20 this week.

The multi-platinum star’s last set, King of R&B, debuted at No. 4 on that list the week that ended Nov. 23, 2019. His sophomore album was preceded by the Lil Baby-assisted “Your Peace” and “Verify” with Young Thug and Gunna.

A year before that, Jacquees’ 2018 debut album, 4275, did slightly better, entering at No. 3 during the week of June 30, 2018.

His gold-selling record featured the hit single “B.E.D.” and “You.” Both songs were certified 2x multi-platinum with over two million equivalent units sold.

Shifting back to Sincerely For You, the album, executive produced by rap star Future, also started at No. 163 on the Billboard 200.

Jacquees had better fortune on the main albums chart with his previous albums, having peaked at No. 20 with King of R&B and No. 35 with 4275.

Sincerely For You arrived Dec. 16 via Cash Money Records. The 17-song effort included the previously shared tracks “Say Yea” and “Tipsy.” On Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart, the first song reached No. 24 in the June 4 issue.

“I feel like the ladies of R&B got a lot to say right now so as one of the fellas in R&B, I felt we had to say sum to let ’em know,” Jacquees told Rated R&B about the XL Eagle-produced track.

Summer Walker, 6LACK, Future, 21 Savage, John P. Kee and more contribute to Sincerely For You.

“This album, Sincerely For You, is really for just all my fans too,” Jacquees told Zane Lowe of Apple Music. “Of course, I’m pointing at a couple people, but with this, it is for my fans. It’s for everybody that’s been supporting me along the way. I feel like if you have been here for me and you helped me get to this level of where I am in my career, then thank you.”

Jacquees will support Sincerely For You with a special forthcoming show. It takes place Feb. 11, 2023, at The NorVa in Norfolk, Virginia. Tickets are available on his official website.
