Singer Vedo will release a new album soon. Mood Swings releases Jan. 13.
The 13-song album will include the lead single “Forever,” produced by Needlz.
Marrying unfailing guitar strums and snaps, Vedo invites listeners to hear a story of finding love after a brush with heartache. He hopes his interest is convinced with his dreams for a lasting romance.
“I don’t mind bein’ used as a place to escape to / Now I know there is love after pain and you’re the proof,” Vedo sings.
“Forever” has garnered nearly 746,000 streams on Spotify since its Nov. 18 release.
The accompanying visual, directed by AlphaMale Visuals, has close to 770,000 views on YouTube. In the description of the official video, Vedo left a message about the inspiration behind his new single.
“‘Forever’ is a clear depiction of finding Pure Love. Finding peace in a world of chaos,” wrote Vedo.
Additionally, Vedo recently shared a live performance of “Forever” on YouTube.
Back Mood Swings; it will mark album six for Vedo. It will feature guest appearances from Chris Brown and Tink.
Vedo’s previous album, 1320, was released in September 2021. The 14-track effort included the previously shared tracks “Yesterday” and “For Me” with Jacquees.
Ari Lennox, Lloyd, Eric Bellinger and Erica Banks will also appear on the album.
As a holdover until Mood Swings, Vedo issued an EP aptly titled While You Wait. Made in collaboration with producer OG Parker, the eight-song project featured the early tracks “Come First” with Baby Tate and “Face Down.” The last song has been streamed more than 1.6 million times on Spotify.
Vedo made an appearance on Tank’s final album, R&B Money, which had him highlighted in the blurb featured on Rated R&B’s Best R&B Albums of 2022 list.
