Dende Releases New EP ‘Before We Crash’

Emerging singer Dende kicks off the new year with a fresh project, Before We Crash.

The six-track EP includes the previously shared songs “Georgia” featuring rapper Deante’ Hitchcock and “Round Trip To Atlanta.”

Before We Crash is steeped in sweet and romantic tunes that chronicle a blossoming relationship ahead of its demise.

The opening track, “Sensually,” is a soothing number where Dende professes his feelings to a potential partner.

The seductive “Flowers” hears him outlining all the ways he plans to win over her heart.”I wanna buy you flowers / Pick you up for a date next Friday night / Lay up with you for hours / Hear ’bout all of your dreams / I’ll tell you mine,” Dende sings in the chorus.

“Please U,” a standout track featuring Erykah Officer, is bound to set the mood in the bedroom.

“My favorite part of the relationship is when you fall so in love with that person, you cant keep your hands off of them. Its up as soon as you see them wether its at the store, the movies, or in the drivers seat of a ‘95 Civic Del Sol,” Dende wrote in an Instagram caption.

Regarding his new EP, Dende tells Rated R&B, “The team (CXR) my producer (Billy Blunt) the creative side (Austin Smith & KB) and I worked really hard to bring a complete project for everyone to enjoy.”

He also hints that more music on the horizon. “Before We Crash is my best work so far and it’s only the lead-up to something better coming this year, so look out for us,” he adds.

Before We Crash is the follow-up to Dende’s 2021 EP, Pregnancy Pack. The project included features from Susan Carol, Bobby Feeno and Bairi.
