Jessie Reyez Joins Sam Smith’s ‘Gloria Tour’

Grammy-nominated singer Jessie Reyez will join pop superstar Sam Smith on their upcoming Gloria Tour, which kicks off in July.

The North American leg starts July 25 at FTX Arena in Miami, Florida. The two stars will perform in other major cities, including Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco and Houston.

Smith will conclude the Gloria Tour in September with two shows in Mexico.

American Express® cardholders will have access to purchase Gloria Tour tickets on Monday, Jan. 9 at 9 a.m. local time. This promotion does not apply to dates in Mexico. General on-sale launches Friday, Jan. 13, at 9 a.m. local time. 

Reyez is on double tour duty this year. She will perform in the U.K. and Europe starting Jan. 16 as part of her Yessie Tour, which she first launched in the U.S. in October 2022.

Her upcoming run kicks off at Rockefeller Music Hall in Oslo, Norway. Then it covers Berlin, Paris and Zurich, to name a few. It concludes Jan. 31 at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London.

Deyaz and Lavi$h will support as special guests.

Reyez’s upcoming headlining tour and time spent with Smith will support her sophomore album, Yessie.

Released Sept. 16, 2022, via FMLY/Island Records, the follow-up to 2020’s Before Love Came to Kill Us was preceded by “Mutual Friend.”

Reyez performed the track on Jimmy Kimmel Live! ahead of its digital drop. An accompanying visual directed by Peter Huang followed. 

For Yessie, Reyez recruited 6LACK for the song “Forever.” The song, co-produced by Pomo, builds buzz on urban radio and Billboard.

On the latter’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, “Forever” has reached No. 33 in its seventh week. 

“Forever” has amassed more than 6.6 million streams on Spotify since releasing this past September. Its official video, directed by Dane Collison, has more than 2.2 million views on YouTube.
