2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards Nominations Announced, Beyoncé Leads

The nominations for the 2023 iHeartMusic Awards have been announced. Beyoncé has the most nominations this year (five), including Artist of the Year.

Beyoncé’s platinum-selling single “Break My Soul” is up for R&B Song of the Year. Co-produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart, the house-inspired track, lifted from her Renaissance, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in August 2022.

Two other tracks from Beyoncé’s hit album Renaissance received nods, including “Cuff It” (TikTok Bop of the Year) and “Summer Renaissance” (Favorite Use of a Sample). The former track recently reached No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. 

The Weeknd and Silk Sonic have four nominations each.

The Canadian act has been nominated twice for Best Collaboration: “One Right Now” with Post Malone and “You Right” with Doja Cat. His most recent album, Dawn FM, was released in January 2022.

Silk Sonic, composed of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, has been nominated in several categories, including Best Duo/Group of the Year and R&B Artist of the Year.

Other nominees include Rihanna, Muni Long, Steve Lacy, SZA, Brent Faiyaz and more.
