Chalynn Shares New Song ‘Luv Sum U’

R&B newcomer Chalynn has returned with her new single “Luv Sum U” via Lil Baby’s Four Pockets Full label.

In the slinking slow jam, Chalynn sings about a relationship that will stand the test of time.

No matter if past experiences with men arise or baby mama drama tests her patience, Chalynn believes that she and her partner can overcome all these romantic challenges for lasting love.

“If it’s worth it then it’s perfect / Sometimes love confusing, so we get discouraged / The emotions overflowing / People search a lifetime for this and you know it,” she sings.

“Luv Sum U” is the follow-up to Chalynn’s debut single, “What You Do,” which was released in May 2022.

“The vibe I’m going for is sassy, and a mid-tempo vibe for the girls. I wish to bring the 2000s-era R&B. It’s gonna fit the modern-day. It was so pure back then and slick. Nowadays, it’s so blunt,” Chalynn shared of the Alien-produced track.

Chalynn supported “What You Do” with a black-and-white music video.

“Thank you to everybody who played a part in putting it together and supporting,” Chalynn wrote in a caption of the video. “My friends comments in the back of the video kills me everytime. That scene of me dancing was my last take after my original outfit kept breaking. We was all out of time, but i delivered.”
