Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds’ got the best seat in the house in his new “Liquor” video featuring Dreamville’s Ari Lennox.
Directed by Jean Estene, the legendary singer works the bar of The Peppermint Club as Ari delivers a sultry performance on the stage.
“I wanna feel like I’m wasted, from the lips that I tasted / I want our love to be ageing with time,” the D.C. songstress sings as she serenades the male customers, while Babyface looks on from behind the bar. “I know you want what you want, need what you need / When you find you the one, better hold on for keeps,” he sings.
“Liquor” is just one of the many collaborations off Babyface’s ninth solo album, Girls Night Out which also features Ella Mai, Kehlani, Queen Naija, Coco Jones, Muni Long, Tink, Doechii, Sevyn Streeter, and more.
