Adult Leisure have dropped their new single titled ‘View From Our Window’. Adult Leisure continue their impressive upward trajectory with ‘View From Our Window’, a single that balances emotional depth with the band’s unmistakable flair for infectious indie songwriting. Drawing listeners into a world shaped by lingering fears and personal reflection, the track showcases a group that understands how to transform deeply human experiences into something both relatable and compelling. Every element feels purposeful, creating a song that resonates long after its final moments.

Adult Leisure have crafted a song that speaks to personal fears while offering a sense of shared understanding, proving once again why they have become one of the most exciting names in contemporary indie music. This is a beautifully realized single that further cements their reputation as artists capable of pairing memorable hooks with meaningful substance.

About ‘View From Our Window’

After an exciting March that saw Adult Leisure perform official showcases at both New York’s New Colossus Festival and Austin, Texas’ SXSW, the alt-indie four-piece return with their new single ‘View From Our Window’.

The track follows the release of March’s single release ‘The Light You Attract’, celebrated by The British Arts Council’s Selector Radio, Pop Journal and ASBO Magazine.

The band’s debut album ‘The Things You Don’t Know Yet’, was released in October 2025 and has already surpassed one million streams. The album saw multiple collaborations with longtime The 1975 / Sam Fender collaborator John Waugh, earning support from the likes of BBC Radio 6’s Indie Forever show, The Line Of Best Fit, Pop Journal, Fresh on the Net and multiple Spotify editorial playlists. Breakout single ‘Borderline’ was used to open an E4 Made In Chelsea episode, their first national TV sync placement.

Their new single ‘View From Our Window’ was recorded and mixed with long-time producer Ollie Searle at Humm Studios and was mastered by acclaimed mastering engineer John Webber (David Bowie, Duran Duran, Coach Party). The track captures the lingering impact of childhood fears and vulnerabilities.

Speaking on the single, songwriter and lyricist David Woolford says, “‘View From Our Window’ is us trying to reflect on moments that left us vulnerable and scared. The verses describe a bogeyman-type figure who lives in a place that echoes our childhood nightmares. As you get older, the monsters you were once so scared of change, but really, it’s your fears that change. The line ‘great big rooms but little beds’ was our way of describing how big the world felt (and still feels), and how small and unable we sometimes feel when it comes to making a change or difference, especially within ourselves.”

“‘View From Our Window’ is the perception that we need to stay alone and not allow anyone in, as they may hurt us, but at the same time, being scared of our own company.”

Following a run of standout, attention-grabbing performances at SXSW this year, Adult Leisure are incredibly proud to announce that they have signed a worldwide bookings deal with William Morris Endeavour (WME), marking a significant step forward for the band, as they continue their rise in 2026.
