Ryder – ICU (ft. Dré Six) – Daily Dose (Daily Featured Music) – Jammerzine

Rising British producer Ryder releases his new single “ICU” featuring East London singer-songwriter Dré Six, out now. The mellow afro-house inspired track serves as the latest single from Ryder’s upcoming third and final EP ‘RYDERHOOD 3’, set for release in June 2026—the concluding chapter in the Hull-born, London-based producer’s year-long trilogy (May 2025 – June 2026).

“Always a pleasure working with Dre,” Ryder says. “‘ICU’ is my take on a mellow afro-house inspired track, suited for a late night drive.”
The collaboration reunites Ryder with Dré Six, following their standout track “My Lady” from ‘RYDERHOOD 2’ (February 2026). Where “My Lady” defied easy categorization with its futuristic blend of melody and trap-influenced production, “ICU” finds the duo exploring more laid-back, groove-driven territory—Dré Six’s melodic storytelling floating over Ryder’s afro-house textures, creating an atmospheric soundtrack perfectly suited for nocturnal journeys.

About Dré Six

East London-born singer-songwriter Dré Six is best known for collaborating with Skepta on “All Alone,” and his collaborative album with German multi-platinum artists KITSCHKRIEG dropped in 2025 featuring UK rap heavyweight Morrison. The single “Slipping Away” also features Kenzo Str8Drop, with the album’s haunting melodies and trap beats setting the backdrop for Dré Six’s poignant storytelling about urban struggles and personal conflict—an electrifying mix of melody, pop, and futuristic sounds that offers a fresh and distinctive take on both UK and global music.

His work has been featured in Trench Magazine, New Wave Magazine, Dork, and GRM Daily, establishing him as one of East London’s most compelling rising voices.

“ICU” arrives ahead of ‘RYDERHOOD 3’ (June 2026), the final instalment in Ryder’s trilogy featuring a slew of upcoming talent including namesbliss, Jamaican star J’Calm, N4T, London R&B starlet Ojerime, and Rushy.

“The whole idea behind this trilogy is bringing artists into a different world than they’d usually reside in,” Ryder explains. “In terms of how my sound has evolved from the first instalment to the second and third, I’ve wanted to place more focus on music that makes you move, music that can be enjoyed communally.”

Where ‘RYDERHOOD’ (May 2025) established Ryder’s genre-bending vision and ‘RYDERHOOD 2’ (February 2026) pushed further into collaborative unpredictability with Louis Culture, JayG, Skit, and YT, ‘RYDERHOOD 3’ promises to bring the trilogy to a close with Ryder’s most diverse and ambitious roster of collaborators yet.
